A-Life Medical, Inc. Promotes President Jaye Connolly to the Additional Post of Chief Executive Officer
SAN DIEGO … September 7, 2010 … A-Life Medical, Inc., the pioneer and leading provider of computer-assisted coding (CAC) products and services to the healthcare industry, announced today that Jaye Connolly has been promoted to the additional post of chief executive officer, effective immediately. Connolly had been serving as president since April 2010, and will continue in that role as well. Prior, Connolly was chief operating officer and chief financial officer at A-Life Medical for more than five years.
In addition to her role as CEO and president, Connolly will continue as a member of the Board of Directors for both A-Life Medical and A-Life Hospital, a wholly owned subsidiary of A-Life Medical.
During her tenure with A-Life, Connolly has been credited with expanding the company’s business and operations and enhancing its CAC capabilities, including the further penetration of A-Life’s products by expanding into the hospital market through its commercial offering of inpatient and outpatient coding. All this has strengthened A-Life’s position in the marketplace, allowed the company to capture additional market share and heightened its presence within the hospital sector.

Connolly has extensive management, finance, acquisition and IPO experience, having served in key management roles at six publicly traded corporations. During her 25-year career, she led 18 accretive acquisitions totaling more than $1.0 billion in revenue. Connolly has demonstrated leadership across a variety of roles spanning the healthcare sector including those in diagnostic imaging, clinical laboratory, physician practice management and hospital services. Before joining A-Life, she served as vice president of business development/mergers and acquisitions at InSight Health Corp. and director of internal audit at Laboratory Corp. of America, where she successfully implemented the company’s corporate wide compliance, audit and ethics program.
In 2009, Connolly was named CFO of the Year in the private company category by the San Diego Business Journal. Connolly, a resident of San Diego, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Texas Tech University.
